The winner will be determined each Monday by who provides the correct trivia answer first in the form of a Facebook comment on the contest post

The “authorized account holder” is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to the social media profile. A winner may be requested to provide Payless Power with proof that the winner is the authorized account holder of the profile associated with the winning entry along with proof of personal identification. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means or any other method or with the intent to impair the integrity of this Giveaway (all as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion), will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant will be disqualified.
Eligibility: Eligibility restrictions apply.The $100 Electricity contest is for existing Payless Power customers only who are legal residents of the state of Texas and are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and directors of Payless Power, its suppliers or affiliates, or any advertising or promotion agencies or contractors who are under contract or have performed work on behalf of Payless Power during the contest period, as well as immediate family members (parents, children, stepparents, stepchildren, siblings or spouses) and members of the same household of each of the above (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Existing Payless Power customers are eligible to win once per calendar year.
Prize: Winners will be issued a $100 credit for Payless Power electricity service.
All federal, state, and local tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of the Winner. An IRS form 1099 will be issued if the value of the total prize meets the IRS reporting threshold. To do so, each winner will be required to complete IRS Form W-9, Request for Taxpayer Identification Number, prior to receiving your prize. All other expenses relating to acceptance of Prize not explicitly stated herein are responsibility of the winner. Issuance of the prizes will be made no later than 15 days after the applicable drawing date. All details of prize not specified herein shall be determined solely by Payless Power.
No substitution for any prize will be permitted. If necessary due to unavailability of the prize, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at the discretion of Payless Power. Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash.
Notification of Winner: Payless Power will request that the winner provide their account information via email. If the selected winner is ineligible, does not respond to notification within 24 hours of such notification, does not accept the prize or the notification is returned as non-deliverable, the prize will be forfeited.
Warranties and Consents: By completing and submitting an entry, you: (a) represent and warrant that (i) you have read, and agree to be bound by, these Official Rules, and any applicable policies or procedures posted by Facebook®, (ii) based on these Official Rules, you are eligible to participate in the Contest, and (iii) all of the information provided as part of your entry is accurate, does not violate any third party’s legal rights (including without limitation rights of privacy and publicity), and otherwise does not violate applicable law; (b) consent to the use of your name and/or likeness by Payless Power for promotional purposes (whether online, in print or through any other media now known or hereafter developed), without additional compensation or authorization unless prohibited by law; and (c) agree to be bound by the interpretations of these Official Rules by Payless Power, which are final in all matters relating to the giveaway; and (d) acknowledge that this Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook®.
Internet: If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Payless Power which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Giveaway, Payless Power reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.
ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE RELATED TO SPONSOR OR THE GIVEAWAY OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, PAYLESS POWER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitations of Liability: Payless Power and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; printing or other errors; and any entries which are late, lost, delayed, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, or any combination thereof. Payless Power reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Giveaway in the event that it becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond Payless Power’s control. In the event the Giveaway is terminated early, Winner(s) will be selected from all eligible entries received at the time of termination.
Release of Liability: By participating, Winners and entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Payless Power, Facebook® and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by the Winner, entrants or any other third parties related in any way to the operation of this Giveaway, as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses (whether alleged, threatened, or actual) to any person or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this Giveaway.
